What We Do

Our primary focus is on the bees. They’re amazing creatures to watch and so fundamental to our food supply that we first got into this business just because we need the bees. In the course of doing their thing, the bees produce a number of things that have a variety of uses to us:

  • Honey
Honey is one of nature’s incredible treats. Unpasteurized, organic process honey is as close to perfection as one can get.
  • Beeswax
Beeswax is special stuff: all natural, non-toxic, non-polluting, non-allergenic, and with a delicious honey-sweet aroma. Whether it’s raw, unprocessed wax, blocks or candles, you can find it here.
  • Propolis
Propolis is a resinous mixture that the bees collect from tree buds, sap flows and other botanical sources. The bees use it as a sealant for unwanted open spaces in the hive, but it’s also been widely used as a natural remedy around the world for centuries.
  • Pollination services
Fully two-thirds of the world’s food supply depends upon honeybees for pollination. With the onset of colony collapse disorder and the complete disappearance of feral bees in some areas, agriculture is coming to rely upon strategic placement of bee hives to ensure complete pollination of crops.
  • Hive Construction
Not every beekeeper has the carpentry skills to build their own hives, nor do they want to. We can provide you with the type, size and design of hive that you’d like.
  • Swarm Removal
Bees don’t always make themselves at home in the most convenient or acceptable locations. A swarm could take up temporary residence in a nearby tree or decide to make themselves at home in your attic. Either way, we can take care of it and safely remove them without causing them harm.
