An interesting article from the NY Times today. It’s frustrating that the beekeeping industry continues to blame everyone but themselves for contributing to the situation we find ourselves in. Clearly, sloppy application of treatments, feeding of foreign material (YEAST?) and migratory beekeeping are factors, but they don’t want to acknowledge any of it.
Bret Adee, a beekeeper on an industrial scale, is central to American agriculture, and “colony collapse” has proved to be a severe test.
